What is a Natural Diamond ?
Natural diamonds formed deep inside the earth over billions of years under extreme heat and pressure. They were pushed to the surface by volcanic activity and discovered through mining. Each one carries a unique fingerprint, tiny inclusions and characteristics that are entirely its own. When you hold a natural diamond, you hold something that the earth spent billions of years creating.

Labgrown Diamond ?
Lab grown diamonds are created in a controlled environment that replicates the exact conditions found deep within the earth. Scientists use either extreme heat and pressure or a carbon-rich gas to grow a diamond from a tiny seed crystal. The result is physically, chemically, and optically identical to a natural diamond. Even gemologists need specialized equipment to tell them apart.

Diamond Clarity
Clarity tells us how clean a diamond looks, both inside and on the surface. Most diamonds have tiny natural marks. Marks inside the diamond are called inclusions, while surface marks are called blemishes. The fewer and less visible these marks are, the rarer and more valuable the diamond becomes. But for everyday jewellery, what matters most is how clean and beautiful the diamond looks to the eye.
What is Diamond Carat?
Carat measures the weight of a diamond and gives an idea of how large it may appear. The higher the carat, the rarer and more valuable the diamond becomes. A well chosen carat should feel balanced with the jewellery design, making the diamond look elegant, comfortable, and worth its value.
What is Color?
The colour of a diamond is graded on a scale from D to Z. D means the diamond is completely colourless, perfectly white and the most rare. As the scale moves toward Z, the stone picks up a faint yellow or brown tint. More colour means less light is reflected and the diamond looks slightly warmer or hazier.
FAQ's
What are Lab Grown Diamonds?
Lab-grown diamonds are created in a laboratory that recreates the conditions under which diamonds form naturally over millions of years. They are physically, chemically and optically identical to mined diamonds so identical that even gemologists cannot tell them apart by eye
Are Lab Grown Diamonds real?
Yes. A diamond is a diamond because of its chemical composition, not its origin. Lab-grown and natural diamonds share the same crystalline carbon structure, which makes lab-grown diamonds genuine, real diamonds.
Can you tell the difference between Lab Grown Diamonds and natural diamonds?
Not by looking. Even a trained jeweller cannot distinguish them with the naked eye or a standard microscope. Only specialised equipment in a gemological lab can identify a lab-grown diamond.
Are Lab Grown Diamonds worth buying?
Yes. They last forever and hold real value. Diamond Lleaf offers up to 80% buyback on lab-grown diamonds, the same way buyback is offered on natural stones.
Do Lab Grown Diamonds cost less than mined diamonds?
Yes. Lab-grown diamonds typically retail at a 60–90% saving over natural diamonds of equivalent quality, and are priced on the same factors cut, colour, clarity and carat.
Are Lab Grown Diamonds graded and certified?
Yes. They are graded exactly like mined diamonds. Every lab-grown diamond used by Diamond Lleaf is certified by leading independent labs such as IGI, GIA, SGL or EGL.
Are Lab Grown Diamonds the same as synthetic diamonds or moissanite?
No. Cubic zirconia and moissanite are diamond simulants, not diamonds. Lab-grown diamonds are real diamonds with the same composition as natural ones.
Are Lab Grown Diamonds durable?
Extremely. Diamonds rank 10 on the Mohs scale the hardest material on earth. Lab-grown diamonds share this rank, so they're strong enough to pass down for generations.
Do lab-grown diamonds fade or dull over time?
No. They do not fade, discolour or cloud. Their brilliance is permanent.
Do all lab-grown diamonds look alike?
No. Machines only set the right conditions nature does the rest. Like mined diamonds, each stone varies in colour, clarity and carat.
Are lab-grown diamonds graded on the 4Cs like natural diamonds?
Yes. They are characterised on the same four Cs Cut, Colour, Clarity and Carat.
